I had a recent mother figure/ co-worker retire after 40 plus years of employment, it wasn't a sad moment it was a "Sappy" moment.  Sad that she was leaving her work family happy that she was joining her family in Las Vegas.  After that day I had this word Sappy and ideas but unsure which way to bring it to life.  A month later a conversation between myself and now business partner during our daughter's volleyball tournament brought this idea to life.  One of us with a word in mind, the other with an idea to design clothing.  From this conversation the Sappy Brand was created.
